The first season of 13 Reasons Why saw Hannah (played by Katherine Langford) explain why she chose to take her own life.
The harrowing tale of teen suicide will return later on this month.
While details have been kept under tight wraps about what it will focus on, it seems the trailer may give a lot away.
Season two’s teaser features a barrage of photographs.
Fans will recall the show’s resident photographer, Tyler (Devin Druid), had a pivotal role in the first instalment of the Netflix hit.
At the end of the short clip, last year’s protagonist Clay (Dylan Minnette) arrived on the scene and flipped over a snap.
“The tapes were just the beginning,” is cryptically scrawled on the back.”
Although it’s currently unknown how much of a role Tyler will play in the new episodes, his season one story was left on a big cliffhanger.
He was last seen preparing a bag of weapons which he seemingly intended to use against those who had bullied him.
Will he go ahead with it? And will season two be about that potentially devastating crime?
The photographer’s bullying ran alongside Hannah’s throughout.
Although his stalking behaviour was illegal, he seemed to be targeted for not fitting the high school mould.
He should definitely be reprimanded for his actions, could season two actually investigate his troubled life?
And with the previous season using cassette tapes as a medium, will the new instalment use photographs instead?
This comes as Hannah Baker’s secret note to Tony Padilla (Christian Navarro) seems to have been revealed.
In the Tony’s segment in the trailer, he seemed to have been beaten up as he dons a black eye and bruised face.
His car is also smashed up pretty bad – did he get into an accident?
Fans have often thought Tony was involved more than first thought with Hannah so it would make sense to explore his story more.
13 Reasons Why returns to Netflix on May 18.
