Last night’s double bill of EastEnders saw Evie (played by Sophia Capasso) try to set-up Bernadette (Clair Norris) but her plan went very wrong.
Bernadette revealed to Evie that Tiffany (Maisie Smith) had decided to accompany Rat on his first drugs drop off.
Evie was far from impressed and wanting to warn Tiffany, she rushed to find her friend and Rat.
But just as she arrived, the Transport Police demanded to search Bernadette’s bag.
They failed to find any incriminating evidence so the trio decided to rush back to Albert Square.
However, as they made their way out, Rat collapsed and claimed he had stomach pains.
Tiffany and Bernadette panicked Rat had swallowed the drugs to protect them.
They called for an ambulance and left him to deal with the consequences alone.
Once they returned home, Evie demanded to know where Rat was and they were forced to confess he’d been taken to hospital.
Evie insisted Tiffany smuggle him out of hospital but in a surprise turn of events, it was revealed Rat was well after all and had not swallowed any drugs.
In fact, it was all part of Evie’s elaborate plan to set up Bernadette as Rat had been expected to plant drugs on her.
But due to the police turning up earlier than expected, it had all gone wrong.
Evie was furious Bernadette had tried to step in and appeared to hint that next time she may not survive.
The drug dealer warned her: “If you cross me again, it’ll be the last thing you ever, ever, ever do.”
Fans were not impressed with Evie’s warning and insisted Bernadette should call on mum Karen (Lorraine Stanley) for help.
“Get Karen to smack her one Bernadette, she’s evil #eastenders,” one viewer wrote.
Another added: “Just tell Karen about Evie, Bernadette! She will sort her out for good! #EastEnders.”
Elsewhere on EastEnders, it looks as though Rainie Cross (Tanya Franks) and Max Branning (Jake Wood) will split.
After it was revealed Rainie was anaemic, it seemed as though Jack (Scott Maslen) wanted to be the one to look after her, not Max.
Will Jack reveal his true feelings for Rainie after all?
EastEnders continues Monday on BBC One at 8pm.
