Meghan Markle news: Royal’s favourite breakfast acai bowl recipe revealed

Meghan Markle made her name as a well-known actress, most famously playing Rachel Zane in the US legal drama Suits. The 37-year-old later struck up a relationship with Prince Harry, and ahead of their wedding earlier this year, she retired from her acting career. The Duchess of Sussex no longer has her own Instagram account, making it more difficult to get a glimpse at what her life is like. However, in the past, Meghan has revealed exactly what she likes to eat in the morning.

So, what is it that the actress-turned-royal typically eats when she wakes up each day?

In an interview with the website EyeSwoon in April 2015, Meghan shed some light on what her go-to breakfast is.

And, when quizzed about her breakfast routine, she said she would opt for an “Açaí bowl, clean cleanse shake, or a green juice”.

She added: “If I’m at a hotel I will likely order poached eggs and toast with avocado.”

Alongside the interview was a number of snaps of Meghan, which showed her whipping up the tasty food.

In one capture, Meghan could be seen holding a pack of pure Açaí, from the brand Sambazon.

So, how can you make the same breakfast as Meghan?

Method

1. Blend one frozen Açaí packet with 1/3 cup of almond milk, 1/2 banana, a handful of frozen berries.
