The 57-year-old singer became a household name after she blew the judges away on Britain’s Got Talent back in 2009, stunning the audience and viewers at home with her rendition of I Dreamed A Dream.
Having kept largely away from the limelight for the past few years, she is now said to be returning to screens.
The Sun say Susan will be joining America’s Got Talent: The Champions.
A Syco source told the publication: “Simon was delighted Susan agreed to come back.”
According to reports, Susan is set to fly to the US this week after procurers signed her up for the show.
Express.co.uk has contacted a representative for Susan asking for comment.
Meanwhile, the opera star recent unveiled some more big news as she revealed she would be making her return to the spotlight later this year.
Susan’s representative confirmed she would be releasing new music before Christmas after Simon told the publication: “She’ll have an album out this Christmas.
“We’ve got an idea to do something slightly different with her.”

The X Factor and Got Talent franchise boss added: “I think she’ll enjoy it.
“She’ll be making records with us for a long time. She’s amazing.”
The music mogul previous spoke out about his initial reaction when Susan first auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent.
Judging alongside Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden, he was seen at the time rolling his eyes and murmuring “wow” under his breath when the hopeful said she had never been married and lived with her cat.
“When that clip arrived on my laptop, and I saw me, I said, I actually hate my guts right now,’” he has since told Variety.
“Because we were really sneery. That was the tipping point.”
Susan, who was admitted to The Priory clinic in London following the final of Britain’s Got Talent in 2009 after what her brother described as an anxiety attack, has had a difficult few years.
The star was diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome in 2013, saying she had been misdiagnosed as a child as suffering from brain damage.
The same year, she lost two stone after being advised to lose weight following a diagnosis of Type 2 Diabetes.
She released her latest album in November 2016 and last toured 2013 to 2014.
