Digital marketing has been voted the top skill employers are focusing on in post-Covid Singapore.

As many as 58% of employers in Singapore are training their workforces in technological skills, to keep their businesses viable and resilient during the pandemic, new research by NTUC LearningHub has revealed.

Based on a survey conducted in April, the reearch found that digital marketing was the Number One skill employers were seeking at the start of the Circuit Breaker period, with 44% of respondents indicating a gap in their workforce. It was followed by project management skills (43%), data analysis (40%), basic IT support (33%), and data-driven decision making skills (32%).

The survey also revealed that the lifestyle industry needs digital marketing skills the most (67%). Project management skills have higher priority in built environment (66%) industries, and data analysis skills are the most important for manufacturing companies (44%).
