President Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka Trump has raised $13 million for her father in the final week of the presidential election campaign, TheHill.com reported, citing an unidentified campaign aide.
Ivanka Trump, 39, a top White House adviser since her father assumed office, collected $10 million from appearances at fundraisers in Mountain View and Beverly Hills, California, Sunday evening and Monday, TheHill said. Her appearance in Detroit on Friday garnered another $3 million.
The Michigan appearance was one of 11 events Ivanka Trump has made since Sunday, and she is expected to continue her public presence on the campaign through Election Day.
Earlier this month, Ivanka Trump appeared at two events that raised $10 million in a single day, and previously had raised $25 million at six events.
The Trump campaign has television advertisements running nationally as well as in 12 states.
The Hill said the president’s campaign has been using Ivanka Trump to appeal to suburban women.
”As a working mother who has dedicated her career to the improvement of women’s lives, Ivanka intrinsically understands the issues facing American families today,” Trump campaign senior adviser Mercedes Schlapp was quoted by Politico earlier this month. ”Ivanka Trump can speak to President Trump’s success from the perspective of both a policy adviser and close family member — a remarkably effective combination on the campaign trail.”
