Taipei, Dec. 3 (CNA) The Cabinet on Thursday released a five-point plan to rein in real estate market speculation, including proposals to curb the flipping of pre-sold houses and to crack down on the buying and selling of properties under a company’s name to reduce tax liability. Flipping refers to the illegal practice of buying a property, holding on to it for a short time and then selling it for a profit.
