The Buildings Department approved 23 building plans in November – six on Hong Kong Island, 11 in Kowloon and six in the New Territories.

 

Of the approved plans, 12 were for apartment and apartment-commercial developments, one was for commercial development, two were for factory and industrial developments, and eight were for community services developments.

 

Consent was given for works to start on 12 building projects which will provide 110,824 sq m of gross floor area for domestic use involving 2,427 units, and 53,434 sq m for non-domestic use.

 

The department also issued 22 occupation permits – seven on Hong Kong Island, six in Kowloon and nine in the New Territories.

 

Buildings certified for occupation have 290,163 sq m of gross floor area for domestic use involving 4,392 units, and 32,752 sq m for non-domestic use.
