The Centre for Health Protection today called on members of the public to clean their hands to combat infectious diseases in support of Hand Hygiene Day on May 5.
The centre said that good hand hygiene is the primary measure to prevent infectious diseases, including COVID-19.
It reminded people to cover their mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing and then clean their hands.
Starting from an early age, children can be tough proper cough manners, while adults can serve as good role models, it added.
