  1. I am late to comment on this video, but Tatum is WRONG about the U.S. women's soccer team.

U.S. women's soccer games have generated more revenue than U.S. men's games over the past three years. That's according to audited financial statements from the U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) obtained by The Wall Street Journal. In 2016, women's games generated $1.9 million more in revenue than men's games. From 2016 to 2018, women's games generated approximately $50.8 million in revenue, compared with $49.9 million for men's games. What she was asking for was that the women be rewarded the same as men for the same performance!

  2. Omg, I am starting to think America is equally obsessed with gender as it is with race. You know where I come from, we value our athletes equally if they have a victory for our country. Men or women, doesn't matter. Now, I understand why certain sports may be more entertaining to men when played by men but that's not true for all sports. Basketball, football, soccer, I get it. But gymnastics, swimming, track and field etc.., honestly, I've never heard people complain about gender there. And besides, I think the whole argument is flawed – women do not harbour illusions that they are stronger than men. But does that mean they can't play sports and compete with other women? What's the trouble with that? You fight as a girl, you win or lose as a girl.

  3. I feel your premise and agree in general but you can’t make general statements. It’s women who can play with men in soccer and other sports. Can the average woman? No. But there are some. So when u say women can’t do what men can do it’s some women who can. Also in saying men and women aren’t created equal. Neither are all men Ijs. Too many general statement

  4. My wife and I talked about this recently how laughable this argument is. Would the WNBA champion score any points against the NBA champion? Want to get paid more , produce a better product. WNBA is boring. Smaller basketball, shorter three point line.
The original "battle of the sexes Bobby Riggs vs Billy Jean King , to get her to play he had to agree to let her use the doubles court. I've played on coed teams soccer and volleyball. Soccer very skilled former college ladies but my over 40 old white legs could still run circles around them. I played D and never had one ever come close to being able to take a shot. Much less score. Volleyball and basketball when I was in the army I helped the base female teams practice with their rules. Hoops they can't take the physicality. Things that wouldn't get a foul called in a men's game "OMG I'm playing too hard"
Volleyball man that lower net , the coach asked me to not roof them , block straight up. It's practice. It's laughable. And I'm not that great , mediocre at best.

  5. “A man owned a multi spaniel and an ass. He made a habit of playing with the dog, and whenever he died out he used to bring back something to give it when it came in find on him. The ass was jealous; and one day it ran up to its master in Frist him around/with the results that he received a kick which made him so angry that he told his servants to dry the ass off with blows and tie it to its manger.”

Nature has not endowed us all with the same powers. There are things that some of us cannot do.

  6. Thomas Sowell. No one is equal. No such thing. You're not equal to yourself at the end of the day let alone being equal to another.

Men and women are different, I'm so GLAD! I live my spouse, he's a man, male, and we complement one another. ❤️ Isn't that a blessing?
    I don't want equality. Equity.
Do your best, life isn't fair, that's life. Deal with it.

  7. People are individuals. They are not interchangeable. Anyone who has been in a position to hire employees knows this is true. If all people have the same work value, why have an interview process? People have different skill sets. In a meritocracy, some people have a higher value than others. For some it’s a natural ability. For others it’s because they put a lot of work into improving themselves. It’s a simple as that. Anyone who thinks all people are equal and interchangeable, really don’t have very high regard for themselves.

  8. We are not equal and there is a good reason for that. Men and women are to complete each other, where one is strong the other may be week. God made woman (my freedom of religion) from man's rib, not from his foot to be crushed, not from his head , to crush him, but his side, to stand together as one…. strong…..
