Cape Town — As of September 7, confirmed cases of Covid-19 from 55 African countries reached 7,931,485 while over 72,982,980vaccinations have been administered across the continent.

Reported deaths in Africa reached 199,804 and  7,107,479 people have recovered. South Africa has the most reported cases 2,824,063 and 83,617 people died. Other most-affected countries are Morocco (886,008), Tunisia ( 675,191), Libya (316,797), Ethiopia (316,174), Egypt (290,395) and Kenya (240,430).
