The Buildings Department approved 15 building plans in August – two on Hong Kong Island, nine in Kowloon and four in the New Territories.

 

Of the approved plans, six were for apartment and apartment-commercial developments, five were for commercial developments and four were for community services developments.

 

Consent was given for works to start on 24 building projects which will provide 411,170 sq m of gross floor area for domestic use involving 7,469 units, and 489,257 sq m of gross floor area for non-domestic use.

 

The department also issued 15 occupation permits – one on Hong Kong Island, four in Kowloon and 10 in the New Territories.

 

Buildings certified for occupation have 37,875 sq m of gross floor area for domestic use involving 510 units, and 7,391 sq m for non-domestic use.
