Katie and the 28-year-old were unveiled as dance partners last Saturday, during the first episode of Strictly Come Dancing 2018.
Today, the pair let fans catch a glimpse at how their rehearsals for the next instalment of the show is coming, as they shared a series of videos on their Instagram accounts.
In one clip, the Spanish choreographer and dancer told fans they were about to take some time out from practicing their routine.
“We’re going to have a coffee break,” he told his Instagram followers.
Katie could be heard sounding delighted at the idea in the background, at which point Gorka panned the camera towards the star.
He asked: “How are you finding the one, two, three?”
“It’s dreadful. I’m really bad,” the 34-year-old replied.
However, the Strictly Come Dancing professional was quick to reassure Katie, insisting: “She’s not. She’s good.”
“But, I was born to do this,” the star went on to exclaim. “I’m not afraid.”
In another post, Gorka filmed the author and activist taking a stroll outside – in which she took some very exaggerated steps.
Poking fun at her rather unexpected way of walking, he announced: “Someone has taken very serious at dancing.”
Laughing at the remark, Katie suddenly twirled around on the spot, and told her partner: “It’s called all the gear, and no idea!”
The pair chuckled, while Gorka switched the camera mode to unveil himself pulling a face.
This evening, the pair posted a selfie of them smiling as they spent time in the dance studio.
Both of the Strictly Come Dancing hopefuls wrapped their arms around one another for the stunning snap.
Clearly overjoyed to have Gorka as her partner, Katie captioned the post: “Day 2 in the bag and I can confirm this man has the patience of a saint.”
The model and philanthropist’s 757,000 Instagram followers rushed to comment on the upload, with one penning: “Hope you two are having fun in training.”
“So excited to see you both. So happy that my favourite celeb and pro are dancing together,” a second swooned.
Explaining the pair hadn’t had chance to meet up due to the 25-year-old competing in the Paratriathlon World Championships, he told members of the press including Express.co.uk: “Obviously she is in Australia at the moment competing so when she gets back we have two days before live shows – which is slightly nerve racking!
“Or a challenge, I think I’ll look at it as.”
Strictly Come Dancing 2018 continues next Saturday on BBC One.
